Course

Color Palette-Professional Course

I have been accredited by the Museums of France and I work for private individuals as well as with local authorities (DRAC, museums, municipalities...) in the whole of the West of France. You will find on this site photos of my work as a conservator-restorer.

I graduated from the École Supérieure des Beaux Arts de Nantes with a Master 2 in 2005, and from the École Supérieure d'Arts d'Avignon with a Master 2 in Conservation-Restoration of Cultural Property. I also have a degree in Art History from the University of Nantes. I completed an internship in preventive conservation at the Musée des Beaux Arts de Paris, focusing on the Prix de Rome collection.

My workshop was created in 2008 and I have been working with other trades since then. The ornamental gilders who intervene on the frames, the cabinetmakers who treat the structural problems of the frames and the panels as well as the upholsterers for the treatments of patinas on furniture.

My areas of expertise:
  • Documentary, historical and iconographic research
  • Description of the work
  • Dated, documented and illustrated condition report
  • Preliminary studies: Diagnosis and recommendations for interventions
  • Intervention protocol
  • Intervention proposal: conservation, conservation-restoration and restoration
  • Drafting of the intervention file, dated, documented and illustrated
My professional experiences:

Specialized in the treatment of the pictorial layer in oil, I treat works dating from the XVIIth century to the contemporary period on canvas and on wood panel.

My career also allowed me to work in subcontracting with restorers of different specialties: Marie Gouret for the restoration of polychrome works or Tristan Mahéo, restorer of frescoes and murals.

Every year, I take part in the Journées Européennes du Patrimoine (European Heritage Days) and the Journées des Métiers d'Art (Arts and Crafts Days).
I continue to enrich my professional experience by taking part in continuing education courses organized by theINP, and in conferences and meetings presented by the C2RMF in Paris and the regions.
