The painting conservation-restoration studio is accredited by Musées de France (French Museums Authority). Located near Bordeaux, in the Entre-Deux-Mers region, I welcome you and undertake the conservation and restoration of your oil paintings. I receive clients at the studio by appointment (contact).

I provide conservation-restoration services for artworks dating from the 17th century to the contemporary period. Furthermore, I collaborate with laboratories for UV, infrared, X-ray and HD imaging. In addition, I have equipped the studio with an electronic microscope, a low-pressure heating table, and UV lighting. I offer advice and expertise in preventive conservation. I work for private individuals, as well as for local authorities and state services.

Following the examination of the artwork and its alterations (condition report), I propose a treatment protocol.

I specialize in the restoration of the pictorial layer but I also treat supports (canvas and panels).

The painting conservation-restoration studio adheres to the profession's code of ethics, which is based on the following three main principles:

  • Legibility: To restore an aesthetic integrity and a coherent unity to the artwork, in accordance with its history.
  • Reversibility: The materials used during restorations should be as non-invasive as possible and must be removable.
  • Stability: Ensuring the longevity of treatments, the compatibility of materials used with each other, and with the constituent materials of the artwork itself.

You will find before/after photos of treatments on the website. Here
